This homemade costume for kids entered our 2017 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Leiko, the 'Sushi and Cactus' costume creator:
My 9 year old daughter Maya is sushi. Her absolute favourite food, and my 10 year old son Hugo is a cactus. Both of them decided in their own what they wanted to be and both insisted that the costumes be made by me and not bought.
I looked up some ideas on Pinterest and added my own ideas and they turned out great!
