This homemade costume for babies entered our 2018 Halloween Costume Contest.

This is my daughter, Adalynn. We had originally ordered a costume but it wasn’t going to be delivered in time so I thought what better costume than to make her a sushi roll. My husband and I love sushi and we LOVE our little girl so we had the best of both worlds and combined it. This is her first Halloween and I’d like to think we nailed her first Halloween costume. It took us over 3 years to have her via IVF so I wanted her first Halloween costume to be perfect.
I made this myself. I just used a white onesie I wasn’t going to use anymore. The front had a design but it got covered up by the fish. This outfit was literally less than $10! The only materials you need is felt, a hot glue gun, a marker (to outline the fish) and scissors.
