This homemade costume for couples entered our 2015 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Courtney, the 'Swole Mates' costume creator:
Couples that work out together and get really muscular refer to themselves as "swole mates" on social media. My boyfriend and I are both small, but not in shape, so we dressed up as "swole mates" and drew muscles and tats on ourselves to really fit the part.
