The 3 Little Pigs & The Big Bad Wolf Costume

These are my 4 children dressed up as the fairytale, “The 3 Little Pigs”. My eldest is the wolf. She is 13 years old and the others are 11,8, & 6 years old. The pig costumes are store bought sweatpants & long sleeved shirts. Hats, gloves, pink face make-up & “cat” ear headbands being used for the pig ears. Wolf costume is just dark colored clothing, purchased tail with ears headband. Face painted with cosmetic make-up. I came up with this idea because I love family group costumes & I look for things that exist as a set of 4. One year, they were the ninja turtles. I like creating costumes rather than buying the kind you slide into. The cost of the clothing and accessories was around 90.00 at WalMart (about 20 a person, except wolf was 30 because of the wolf slippers). I have photography equipment, so I set it all up, and looked for tools around my house to use as props for capturing the story. I also included a play on words using drinking straws for the pig that builds his house of straw. It was a lot of fun for all of us.
