The Addams Family Costume

We decided to re-create an iconic spooky family in costume for this Halloween. We visited our local Goodwill store and purchased a suit for Gomez and long black dress and a black Shaw to create Morticia’s dress. I altered the dress by cutting the sleeves off, cutting a low v neck and placing pieces of the Shaw to create the sleeves and dress lace. Then we purchased accessories for the costumes such as wigs and a cigar. The costume for Wednesday was a store bought costume purchased 75 % off from the previous Halloween. Cousin it was created with a Hawaiian grass skirt, an old pumpkin bucket , glasses from the dollar tree along with a hat from the dollar tree. The bulldogs Pugsly costume was created with an old white shirt that I drew black stripes on, a box wrapped in a brown paper bag and old gloves from a previous costume. Lastly, Thing was an old non -working moveable hand decoration that I removed the clothing from and covered the back to finish our group costume.
