The Belle of the Ball Costume

This costume was an adventure. My grandmother randomly gave me this yellow ballgown, and I didn’t know what to do with it, so I turned it into a Belle costume. It didn’t have the classic ruffles on the skirt like Belle does, so I added a bunched up skirt layer (the darker gold) to give the same feel. It clips on under the bodice so I can still wear it like normal if I feel like it. I styled my hair to match Belle’s and adorned a handmade red cloak to match the one she wears in the movie. The tiny tiara was necessary since she’s a princess! I’m super happy with how this costume came together!
