The Billionaire Costume

This is Barney dressed as The Billionaire. I went to the local thrift store and bought a XS navy women dress coat, a 2T childs dress shirt and a men red tie. I deconstructed the jacket so all it was just the collar of the jacket and shoulders, I also removed the jacket sleeves. I then put the jacket over the dogs head and closed the collar a little above the original buttons. I then split the jacket up the back and cut holes down the back and used a shoe lace to lace it up. Putting the corset back helped me be able to adjust the fit of the jacket as needed for pictures. I then pined in the sides to fit the dog and removed the extra fabric. The sleeves I cut to the length of the dogs legs. I also cut them leaving bottom of the sleeve as it was so there was no need to finish them. I then cut the shirt like a dickie and sewed it to the inside of the jacket. I also trimmed the very edge of the shirt sleeves off and sewed them to the inside of the jacket sleeve. So it gave the illusion that he was wearing the whole shirt. The tie was actually the skinny part of a mans tie and then sewn into the shirt collar. The wig was also bought at the thrift store. It was a blonde wig. I tried the wig short around the natural part and bangs of the wig. I then attached a piece of elastic to use as the strap to hold it on the dogs head. This is how I created the custom suit for The Billionaire.
