The Boo-chanan Construction Company Costume

The Buchanan Family has banded together every year since our son Braxtyn was born to create a fun family costume! This year, with a new baby on the way, we tried to figure out the best way to include my growing bump into our Halloween fun. That bump inspired the “Boo-chanan Construction Company!” We were able to include every member of our growing family, including our family dog Jasper!

My husband made the base for the wagon out of scrap wood. We painted it, drilled holes for the bulldozer and strapped down with zip ties. We completed the look with gravel, caution tape, orange cones, and blinking fairy lights. The costume has been a huge success and we won first place in two local costume contests!
