This homemade costume for boys entered our 2020 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Melissa, the 'The Child aka Baby Yoda' costume creator:
My 8 year old son decided he wanted to be Baby Yoda for Halloween, but he also wanted to look like he was in the pod. So my husband and I decided to try and make it for him. I made the mask using foam & some layers of liquid latex, cotton, hot glue, and spray painted it. I sewed the robe and collar out of fleece material. My husband made the pod using wire covered in thin foam, and spray painted. We cut a hole for his legs and attached with suspenders. Everyone kept yelling “ Baby Yoda!!!!” as we went trick or treating.
