The Flintstones Costume

My daughter is a year old and has the perfect little Pebbles hair-do. Ever since her hair was long enough to put in a ponytail I knew I wanted her to be Pebbles for Halloween! So my daughter was Pebbles, I was Wilma and my husband was Fred! I googled Flinstones diy costume and found a extremely helpful article. I made the costumes with flannel material so they were pretty warm. I basically traced items that fit similar to the costume to cut and sew. I am pretty inexperienced so it took me quite a few try ones until it looked good. The necklace and pebbles hair bone was made with styrofoam balls and clay. I recommend having extra fabric if you are inexperienced like me. It took me two tries for Pebbles outfit and and lots of fixes for Fred’s!
