This homemade costume for boys entered our 2015 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Ute, the 'The Fridge' costume creator:
My imaginative 6 year old son who loves to cook, bake and play with generally anything "kitchen" related, came up with the idea of being ''a fridge". Since I couldn't find any child sized refrigerator costumes, I had no other choice but to make one!
Instructions:
Big cardboard box
Spray paint
Hot glue gun
Small pieces of wood to stabilize weight of shelves
A sharp knife (for a grown up to use); for cutting head & arm holes
Empty clean items from your fridge
Some plastic eyeballs, snakes and severed fingers from the Dollar Store
A fun imagination
Have fun with it!
Costume cost about $10 and took approx. 7 hours to make.
