A word from Amy, the 'The Invisible Man' costume creator:
My son Jace is going as The Invisible Man this year. Jace loves playing spy games and loves super heros. This kinda combines the two. He and my husband made the "frame" out of wire and pipe insulation. I sewed gold material that he can see through, but others can't see into, in the shape of a bat on an extra-large shirt from Goodwill. We hot glued an old hat and sunglasses onto the wires that stick up out of the frame for the "head." We had to cut the arm pits of the shirt out for his own arms to fit, and he is wearing gloves, his own pants and shoes. This only cost us a few dollars at Goodwill and JoAnn fabrics. Besides that we just used things laying around my husband's home workshop.
