The Lego Movie Family Costumes

My kids love lego so we decided to make them all characters from the movie. We have 5 kids so this was no easy task! The bodies are made from a combination of foam board and cardboard, duct taped and hot glued together. The corners were modge podged and then spray painted. Emmett and Good/Bad cop body details were made from paper while the others were hand painted on. The heads were made from sonotube concrete forms covered in bristol board with hand painted faces and the hair pieces were carved from styrofoam, modge podged and painted. Good cop bad cop face can flip around just like the real one. They were a huge hit!
