The Lego Movie Group Costume

Every year, our kids aged 11, 9, 5, and 4 come up with a common theme and a favorite character. Then we do our best to accomodate! Bodies are just painted boxes to match the appropriate Lego character. The heads were a bit more challenging, a mix of empty Cheetos containers (for the little guys) and bathroom trashcans, paper mashay, and pantyhose over the holes for the eyes. As always, it was tons of fun, but 3 weeks of every spare minute of work. It's always worth it watching the kids walk in the parade of their home town, feeling like stars waving to family/friends!
