The Mask Costume

My name is Dalton and I cosplay as The Mask. I loved the movie when I was younger and I still love it to this day. I started off my makeup with facial prosthetics and a bald cap. I to get the "hairless" effect of the mask, I had to apply a generous amount of liquid latex to my eyebrows. I used green grease paint for the color and dark green grease paint for the lips and under my eyes. Word of warning, measure the bald cap twice and cut once. The suit and hat were bought at a thrift store. The Mask's wacky nature really get everyone in a happy mood, so really dig into the character. Everytime I decide to be him, I always watch The Mask everyday for a week to get back into character.
