The Pence Fly & the Harris Swatter Costume

Casey Ryan is wearing the swatter. Made of a blend of screen, staples, strapped tape, duct tape, and molded wire.

Andrew Menard is the Mike Pence Fly.
Much construction: hoop skirt with fraud fur and tan sheet decorated with sew on patches for eyes.
Fly cavity is blend of fabric glue, wood frame, thick yarn, pipe cleaners of all diameters- twisted and braided over for extra strength and thickness.
Wings are painted, fabric stiffed, wired, and Velcro to back of short. Head is ski mask, constructed antennas out of pipe cleaners, head bands, eyes are made of screen, lace, glue, pipe cleaners, glasses, and needle point frames.
The idea was obvious, the design came from my mind, and it was so, so much fun to make and made the year awesome!
