This homemade costume for women entered our 2019 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Troi, the 'The Phoenix from Kanye West's Runaway' costume creator:
For this costume I hand dyed and glued over 400+ feathers to a piece of fabric cut to the shape of my body. The upper part of the wings are a piece of cardboard I shaped and rolled into a wing. The nails were sculpted with polymer clay. After all the feathers were all secure, I glued the entire fabric to my body (and yes it was absolutely painful taking it off) and hoped for the best lol.
