This homemade costume for kids entered our 2015 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Madeline, the 'The Red Dalek' costume creator:
I really wanted to be a Dalek but I really didn't like the Dalek dresses. I saw a picture of one made out of cardboard online and decided to try make my own. It's made out of cardboard, duct tape and plastic balls. I spray painted it red because red Dalek are terrifying. Inside there was a little spot to put my phone that played a recording of a Dalek saying "EXTERMINATE". The eye also had a small flashlight in it.
