This homemade costume for girls entered our 2014 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from T.C., the 'The Red Queen' costume creator:
A creation for my 8 y/o niece most girls are princesses but Katy wanted to be the Queen. Haha! After watching Alice in Wonderland she knew what she wanted to be. To the thrift store we went and located the dress. We took red and black felt and cut hearts out and stitched to the dress, The wand was made from a curtain rod with a stone red heart in the middle. The wig we did have to purchase glad her head could hold it. Face makeup and a red heart ring and she was set for a long night of oooh's and aaahs.
