This homemade costume for girls entered our 2018 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Alexis, the 'The Red Queen' costume creator:
All DIY and homemade queen of hearts from Alice in a Wonderland costume. Made for my 5 year old daughter Merida, who also helped along the way. Inspired by the newer Alice in wonderland movie. Total Cost for the finished costume was around $50.
Main pieces of the costume include a one of a kind rose covered heart hair piece with gold crown. A very unique collar made from playing cards. Black and red heart with feathers scepter. Lastly a black, red, white and gold long tulle dress with heart bodice.
