The Simpsons Costume

This is my family and I dressed up as The Simpsons. We were at a perfect point in our lives to be the Simpsons, having an 8-year-old boy, 6-year-old girl and new baby. They were perfect for Bart, Lisa and Maggie.

I made the costumes myself. We are all wearing yellow morph suits under our clothes, which we either already had, or I sewed up (the dresses mostly). The kids' hair was made from foam and then spray painted yellow. My (Marge) hair was just Bristol board covered in cotton balls and spray painted blue. The eyes were Styrofoam balls cut in half and glued onto glasses.

I love the way our costumes turned out, and so did everyone else who saw them!
