A word from Jenni, the 'The White Rabbit' costume creator:
My son Ethan was the cutest white rabbit ever! I made his costume out of a sleeper and hat set. The sleeper opened in the back so I could glue the ruffles on the front with no problem. Very fuzzy faux fur was used to make the ears, tail, and some was glued on the tops of mittens for his little hands. The ears were cut out and the ends were hot glued around wire frames then sewn on the hat. The inside of the ears were painted with acrylic paint. Acrylic paint was also used to make pink foot pads on the bottoms of the sleeper feet. A fleece jacket was cut to make an over coat and lace was hot glued on the inside of the sleeves. Roping was also hot glued to the collar and around the sleeves. I bought a vest to go under the coat and hot glued a little hankercheif to the fake pocket. Then I found a watch at Joanne fabrics that I hot glued and sewed half way hanging out of the waist pocket on the vest. This costume was probably close to $30
