This homemade costume for men entered our 2011 Halloween Costume Contest.

Original Idea: I made it up at 11 PM while doing homework and chatting with a friend, the night before Halloween - LOL!
"How-to create the Academic Warrior Costume"
1. Purchase or find black military BDUs or similar clothing (often priced between a total $40 ~ 50 for the top and bottom - I play Airsoft so I had them readily available) This is not mandatory as any black shirt and black cargo pants will suffice. Black boots help in completing the look as well.
2. Purchase a black military vest/chest rig with many pouches (this may be pricey depending on what type of vest and where you purchase it from, often ranges from $30~150)
3. Equip your pouches/pockets with school utensils and "academic weapons"!
4. Have Fun!
