This homemade costume for boys entered our 2012 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Kim, the 'The Penny' costume creator:
This is my youngest son Jimmy who went as a penny. We cut the penny out of cardboard and made a cut for his shoulder and on the other side there is a handle to hold it. We spray painted it copper and then we got an Abe beard and a shirt and spray painted those too. I found copper face paint and painted his face and hair. It came out really great. He got lots of compliments!
