This homemade costume for adults entered our 2010 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Sheryl, the 'The Swamp Monster' costume creator:
This is my daughter and her horse dressed up as "The Swamp Monster!" Morgan & her gelding "Go Chipper King" are Lifetime Youth members of the NBHA & AQHA.
This costume was hand made! It consist of spanish moss (straight off of the trees down in the woods!), horse fly sheet & fly mask, hooded sweat shirt, camo mosquito face net, & gloves. Cut & sew an opening in the horse fly sheet. Attach hook & eyes. Glue spanish moss on all items till completely covered.
NOTICE: Before glueing moss, Be sure to place moss in a building & set off a bug bomb as directed otherwise the little bugs will eat up while wearing the costume!LOL Air out for a couple of hours.
