Thing 1 & 2 Dogs Costume

This is me with my two nursing home dogs, Molly and Lulu. My residents look forward to our costumes every year, and I try to dress up as something they recognize. They loved the Cat in the Hat and Thing 1 & 2. I made the girls' costumes out of fabric and puffy paint for the letters. They hate having things on their heads, so I opted for a blue ruffle over a wig. My costume was stuff I had in my closet, mostly. I did purchase the hat and made the big red bow. This set of costumes cost about $30 to make.
