This homemade costume for boys entered our 2022 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Amber, the 'Thor with Stormbreaker' costume creator:
My 9 year old son, Eli, asked me if he could be Thor for Halloween. I've always enjoyed making his costumes but after looking at pictures of this particular Thor I felt it would be a challenge. I bought cheap red fabric at Wal-Mart for the cape, a blue tank top and black jeans at salvation army and felt/foam at Michael's. It took lots of hot glue and cutting out pieces but my son was so happy with it! My husband helped make storm beaker out of cardboard and I painted it.
