This homemade costume for women entered our 2015 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Ashley, the 'Thor' costume creator:
I made this costume myself, using Worbla, craft foam, paint, fabric, wood glue, and a lot of patience. Worbla and craft foam were sculpted to the right shapes, then painted appropriately. It took approximately a month to complete. It is based on the newest issues of Thor, where Thor has lost his power and his hammer is now wielded by a woman. I opted to use a circlet instead of a full helm for comfort so I didn't overheat while wearing it. I am proud because it is my first armored costume.
