Three Little Gnomes Costume

Three little gnome costumes. I made everything except the little boy’s shirt (just a simple white dress shirt), the shoes and the belt. All hand drafted patterns. I crocheted the hats from an acrylic yarn. For the aprons I decided on drafting my own mushroom and acorn appliqué and used a satin stitch to sew them onto the pockets. I also made little bags (you can kind of see the sides of them) with appliqué to match their aprons and each other. The dresses lace up the sides with flower shaped eyelets. I used mostly recycled fabric from curtains, bedsheets, and pillowcases. It total it cost about $50 to make.
