Thunderstorm Costume

This is my 4 year old daughter dressed up as a thunderstorm! I put paper mache over a balloon, popped the balloon, and build the cloud around it with poly-fill! Then I used gray temporary hair spray to make it look like a real storm. I put battery operated strobe lights inside (with the thunderstorm noises) to create lightning effects. Then cut out rain drops from foam and hung them using fishing line and weighted the bottom of each string. Dressed her in gray clothes. The final touch- rain boots!
