This homemade costume for families entered our 2020 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Kaitlyn, the 'Tiger King' costume creator:
Watching Tiger King during quarantine inspired our family to be Tiger King this year. We loved the documentary so much that we wanted to go all out for Halloween! We got my outfit (Carol Baskins) pretty much all from Target and made the shirt with a Cricket. We created Joe Exotics costume (my husband) from getting a Joe exotic hat with mullet hair off Amazon, for his shirt and chain from Spirit Halloween, and the ankle brace from Walmart. He already had boots and tight jeans to tie the costume together. For the Tiger (our daughter), we bought her costume from Spirit Halloween! The parties and events we have gone to with these costumes has been tons of fun. We love watching everyone light up when they see if walk into the room.
