This homemade costume for families entered our 2019 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Nancy, the 'Tim Burton Fans' costume creator:
Dad (husband) as Mad hatter, daughter as beetlejuice, son as Jack Skellington, Son as Edward Scissorhands, daughter as Alice, Mom as Queen of Hearts. We wanted to combine Tim Burton movies as we are fans of his work. I created Edward Scissorhands by cutting duck tape and shaping the tape to straws. Then pressing down to make a blade look, I then stapled the tape to the gloves. Make up took hours to apply.
