Tinker Bell Costume

My daughter chose to be Tinker Bell this year. I wasn't fond of all the frilly store bought costumes so I decided to try to handmake a dress for the first time ever. A few youtube dress making tutorials later I was making a template using her tshirt for size reference, tracing and cutting the material and then sewing it all together. I did make some dumb mistakes and have to redo a couple things but that comes with any "first time' project. I think it went surprisingly well and she absolutely loved it! Its not perfect by any means but its wearable. Even sewing a zipper was not very hard. So never doubt yourself! If you have a vision, go for it and you may surprise yourself!
