This homemade costume for couples entered our 2018 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Laura, the 'Tonya and Nancy' costume creator:
After my friend and I saw the movie “I, Tonya” together, I immediately thought we should be Nancy and Tonya for Halloween. We decided to be a bit more dramatic and make Nancy’s knee all mangled and bloody. Nancy needed a bit of revenge so we crafted a soft prop skate out of felt and fiber fill and made it look like it was stuck in Tonya’s back. Tonya also ended up with a black eye from the scuffle. Everything we needed for the costumes we got at garage sales or secondhand online. Total cost for both costumes was just around $30!
