This homemade costume for couples entered our 2023 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Rebecca, the 'Top Gun Maverick' costume creator:
My husband and I decided to build a wearable Top Gun Maverick plane to wear with our Hangman & Phoenix costumes. It is entirely made out of cardboard boxes, kept together with hot glue and tape. We used rods to keep the wings up and sturdy. We added the seatbelts to have it sitting on our shoulders. Then we painted the whole thing with silver spray paint and I created the decals using my Cricut machine.
