This homemade costume for girls entered our 2014 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Purvi, the 'Tree' costume creator:
My daughter is wearing this costume. The main part is made from brown fleece, and all the colored areas are felt. The shirt and pants are sewn, the branches are wire covered with fleece and it is held together with wire and hot glue. I also painted different colors of brown on the trunk with fabric paint. The branches and front panel are tied onto her body with black shoelaces at the sides. The branches also have battery-operated LED lights as decoration.
