This homemade costume for families entered our 2018 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Kylie, the 'Trolls' costume creator:
These fun costumes started with my daughters love for the character Branch from Trolls.I looked everywhere for a Branch costume and couldn’t find anything I loved so I decided to make my own, which lead to me deciding to make a family full of trolls. I made “Branch” a tulle skirt with felt patches, a felt leaf vest, and tulle wig. “Poppy” I did a hand sewn dress with felt a felt design and tulle wig. “Biggie” a hand sewn vest and tulle wig. “Mr. Dinkle” a hand sewn outfit and hat, hand painted with some felt for the face. The costumes took about three months to complete and I think the end result was worth all the hard work!
