Poppy Costume

My daughter is wearing a all hand made Queen Poppy costume. Inspired by her ending of the movie Trolls outfit. I went to my local fabric shop, spend no more than $10.00 and just went with the picture for inspiration. The crown was made with a cereal box, felt,sequins and jewels. To make the hair I bought some stretchy shiny ribbon at the 99,a mesh headband, cut into sections and tied them on one by one. Her dress was hand sewn, the long sleeve was dyed pink, the buttons on the cape were hand sewn in and I added felt for the details. I used stickers for details of her makeup and she loved it. Didn't take a lot of money but did take my time and patience which I don't mind because I love making costumes.
