Twin Grannies Costume

Our 7.5 month old twins- Laikyn Veit(left) and Brynlee Veit(right)... I wanted something completely different than a store bought costume for our daughters' first halloween that also wouldn't hurt my checking account so I decided to make this costume and it only costed me under $7 to make both. The twins already had the dresses, cardigans, and socks. My mom lightly sewed a lace trim around the cardigans so i could remove it when halloween was over and still use the cardigans! I got baby caps they already had and stretched it around a styrofoam ball that was the size of each twins heads and used a glue gun to glue the pom-poms around the head of each cap for their wigs! I bought adult reader glasses and from the dollar store, popped the lenses out and strung pearls around the ends. It was the easiest and cheapest costume that gave everyone a ton of laughs all night! Cant beat it for a mom on a budget with twins!
