Ursula Costume

This is Riley, she is 4 years old, dressed as ursula the sea witch from the little mermaid. Her costume is entirely hand made. The body part of the dress is made from black and purple velvet material cut from a dress & shirt bought at the goodwill. It is stuffed with pillow stuffing and then I sewed it onto a light purple long sleeve shirt. The suction cup part of the tentacles are cut from felt and attached with hot glue. The tentacles can be snapped to the body suit to be up or can be left to hang down. The shell earrings and necklace I made out of clay and painted them, attached to clip on earrings. The wig was sprayed to stand up as much as possible and then I painted a gray streak at each temple. Painted face to look like ursula. Made eels out of t shirts, pillow stuffing and felt eyes. I added snaps at their tail so she could wear them as one piece like a shawl our carry individually.
