This homemade costume for families entered our 2017 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Latreace, the 'Vending Machines' costume creator:
It stemed from when a friend tried to downplay what her children would wear for halloween. I had bought my kids some little cheap store bought costumes and my friend had bought her children ravishing costumes. You better believe I would be ready the next year lol. We thought to go with the vending machine look.
My little girl Alana is wearing the candy vending machine.
Materials include, cardboard box, spray paint, slinky, candy bars, stuffing, warning labels, cutouts from the computer and lots of tape.
My little boy Amir is the soda vending machine.
Materials include, cardboard box, spray paint, slinky, soda cans, bottled water caps, warning labels, printouts from the computer and lots of tape.
Mom was a gumball machine.
Materials include: white tank top, red skirt, red leggings, silver tape, black marker, glue, and colorful little pom pom balls.
