This homemade costume for adults entered our 2012 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Tiffany, the 'Vending Machine' costume creator:
I love to create my own costumes. This year I decided to be a vending machine. I work in a nursing home and the residents love to buy snacks and treats from the vending machine, so I wanted to be something they could recognize.
The costume has a functional coin slot to collect money, and a "push" slot at the bottom where you can reach in and pull out a piece of fun size candy. It's made from a cardboard box painted black, and foam board on the inside panel. The coils are small slinkies with the actual snacks glued to them.
