Venetian Jokers Costume

The idea for the costumes can from the Venetian carnival. I found the masks by chance at a local store. The costumes themselves are dine worth a combination of brocade and satin. The corsets are made using spring steel, duck cloth and shrink tubing. I am wearing the black one and my daughter is in the red. The hardest part were definitely the shoes. I use boots, then sketched out casings in the matching fabric, used a glue gun to secure them and added trim to finish.
