Venus Fly Trap Costume

This is my 3 year old son Maximus. He loves plants just as much as his momma and when he saw a Venus fly costume online he was dead set on being one for Halloween. It was pretty simple to make I covered a half styrofoam ball in green crepe paper and spray painted the “inside” for one side of the headpiece and hot glued a plastic plate for the other side.I covered plastic plates in crepe and spray paint as well and used those for the hands. The teeth are fake nails again hot glued on. We used plastic flower pot and cut the bottom out and attached suspenders to it to make it wearable! My son absolutely loves it.
