This homemade costume for women entered our 2017 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Forthun, the 'Viking Warrior Princess' costume creator:
I decided to go as a Viking to honor my heritage. My father was terminally ill and I wanted him to be proud and make him smile. I bought costume online and added my own accessories. I reused a wig I had worn when I was a pirate. I removed pirate ties and braided it. I wore my own brown boots with leg warmers and attached fur trim. I also bought a toy hatchet. Cost about $40 not including items I already owned.
