Vikings Costume

I am a designer and made these costumes from scratch. I have a local vendor that my office uses for Interior design work. The owner often has left over fabric and trims that are in scraps that he cannot use for anything- which he gives to me. I make all of the patterns from linen and make them to fit my size as well as my boyfriends size. The leather is also sample leather that I receive from a friend who works for a leather company. I try to use as many recycled pieces and parts as I can and only purchase what I absolutely have to. I also sew all of the pieces myself. The total cost to make both of these costumes was probably around $50 with extensive hours of labor.
