Wayne's World Costume

My best friend Maddy(Wayne) and I (Garth) decided to be a little more creative than the others in our town. We threw it back to the 80's, remembering the iconic duo featured first on SNL, then followed by a movie and a sequel.
Our costumes were completely homemade. I used a flannel I already had, the glasses were old 3-D movie theatre glasses that I punched the lenses out of, we both already had the 80's(ish) styled high-waisted shorts and we bought the tshirts from Goodwill and cut them up ourselves. Maddy (Garth) bought a plain black hat and designed it with a white fabric marker.
Our costumes were about $15 total.
