This homemade costume for groups entered our 2015 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Lisa, the 'Wedding Massacre' costume creator:
This group costume came about during a fundraising party we went to. We are all neighbors and wanted to do a group theme. I happened to be married at the location where the fundraiser was taking place, only 6 years ago.
The group decided to represent a zombie wedding party. A bride, groom, bridesmaids and groomsmen.... Who fell to a terrible fate.
The bridal gown came from a search on Etsy. I k ew I wanted a gown with long, lace sleeves and a bustle.
The bridesmaid dresses were purchased from a department store. The groom and groomsmen tuxedos were old suits that we "adjusted ".
We spray pained, cut apart and "bloodied" our outfits.
Top it all off with makeup and we are "meant to be".
