Hi, this is Cookie the "Weenie Witch". Yes I did make her costume from material I purchased at the thrift shop! Her velvet cape & hat was recycled from a childs jacket. Her striped socks cut from baby socks. I basically made a pattern that I wanted to fit her small size, tried on her and tried again until I got the look I wanted. I glued stars on the cape & hat and found some ribbon from my sewing kit. I'm particular so it did take me awhile to get the right look, but so worth the fun!
