This homemade costume for women entered our 2014 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Holly, the 'Wench Pirate' costume creator:
This costume is a labor of love that came together over a couple of years. It wasn't cheap. Basically everything on the top half (hat, silk chemise, silk corset, frock coat) was custom made for me. Everything on the bottom half was scavenged or bought from various non-Halloween stores.
You can't see the sleeves of the chemise, but they're poofy and have lace cuffs with long satin ribbon bows. I have them bunched up to my elbows in the picture.
